VPR Record Correction / Dispute
If you believe an interest recorded against a vehicle is incorrect, outdated, unauthorised or disputed, you may request a VPR review.
What to provide
- Vehicle registration number.
- Your name or organisation and contact details.
- VPR certificate number, if available.
- A clear explanation of the disputed information.
- Reasonable supporting documentation showing your connection to the vehicle or recorded interest.
Review
VPR may contact the party associated with the recorded interest, request additional evidence, annotate or suspend a disputed entry where appropriate, and preserve an audit record of corrections.

VPR does not adjudicate ownership or legal priority between competing parties. Matters requiring a legal determination may need to be referred to the appropriate statutory or judicial process.
